If I am diagnosed with an early onset form of Macular Degeneration, how quickly will it progress?
In most cases, Macular Degeneration progresses very slowly over a period of years. Vision sometimes appears to remain stable between annual eye examinations, and many patients retain a reasonable amount of peripheral vision later in life.
