What are low vision assistive devices? Low vision devices are designed to enable people to make the most of the eyesight they have. Each person is different with differing needs. Some of these devices are expensive but grants are becoming available for relevant government departments. The Employment Equity Bill also allows for “reasonable accommodation” to be provided by employers for employees with disabilities.
