People affected by retinal degeneration are not advised to take prolonged doses of Chloroquin or Aralin based anti-malaria drugs. An antibiotic substitute may be taken instead. Ask your doctor about Doxycyline, either Cycledox or the cheaper generic substitute, Doxex.
